Test mode (sandbox)

Develop safely with mth_test_ keys.

There is no separate sandbox data set yet. Test keys call the same read endpoints as live keys and see the same real data, limited to what the key's owner may see. Endpoints that change data refuse test keys.

Test keys start with mth_test_.
Responses include X-Mithila-Environment: test and meta.livemode = false.
Endpoints that change real data, such as PATCH /seller/orders/{id}/ship, reject test keys with 403 live_key_required. Use a live key for them.
Live keys need an approved developer account.
